The project promoter would like to combat the exclusion and prejudice towards homeless people in Hungary by using the positive influence of art. Throughout the project, a firewall in Budapest was to be painted, to become the „Wall of Tolerance” - this name refers to the method of implementation, too, because homeless artists and non-homeless street artists worked together on painting. The project is primarily aimed at people who are homeless, but the positive communication can change the attitude and approach of the whole society. The project is implemented in collaboration with Shelter Foundation which is one of the largest NGOs in Budapest, working for homeless people. The completed project will be a positive example to those individuals and communities who would rather make friends than enemies all around.
