The goal of the project was to stop the isolation of Pere and the spread of segregation, to reduce unemployment and poverty, to increase the knowledge of children and to demonstrate that it is possible to establish a working and sustainable model in a village of less than 500 people in Northern Hungary. The direct target groups were the children and unemployed of Pere, but in a wider sense everyone who experienced the positive impact of the program: volunteers and tourists seeing a positive example. The two main activities were starting up a social enterprise with the village people with the theme of community based tourism and also the organizer's volunteer program, through which they implemented skills development activities for the children and families. The organizers would also like to involve in their enterprise other similar villages to approach primarily foreign tourists together. With the volunteer program they would also like to reach out to children living close to Pere.
