The aim of the project was to improve the quality of life of disadvantaged women and to enable them to make a living, educate their children, reduce their defenselessness and gain income. Among the members of the target group are women who live in very bad circumstances in a temporary home of families (THF), who raise their children alone, who are over fifty, or slightly mentally retarded, suffer from violence in their families or live in a family but have a serious illness. With the help of the project the organizers help them to be independent and self-reliant (growing and preserving food, selling the surplus). During the courses the organizers provided them knowhow to improve their quality of life. With the trainings they will be able to enforce their interests. The organizers also helped them solve their everyday problems with the services they can use. As they grow the food themselves, they can eat more varied and healthier diet. The project leader, the trainer and the mentor are in everyday contact with the women, especially those who live in the temporary home of families. The project wants to give a helping hand to those, who live farther in the town as well. The inhabitants of Ajka know a lot about the project, on the community site the spectific products are promoted for sale. Through the project the organizers become more and more acquainted with the everyday problems of the members and help them to find a job.
