There are very few grassroot and local initiatives in Debrecen. The alternative projects without resources are not sustainable. The organizers created the project to keep these ideas alive. As a cultural organization they decided to use a radio station as a melting pot to collect local groups and people. The aim was to solve local issues through cooperation. They continuted to it by organzing a training in community organizing which is an atypical method in Hungary. Target groups were civic organizations and informal groups with positive values. The radio is a tool to represent these values, and the community organizing is a method to realize their aims. Each community is built around a case, which can be solved by co-working and the planned workshops. The aim was to reach 30 local organizations, to start 10 new radio programs, to take 5 community organizing workshops, to organize 4 events, and to make 1 action. These activities were implemented solely by the involved participants.
