The main objective of the study trip was to get know the theory and activities of care farms. The team members interested in the topic and already had some information about care farms, as one of them have visited one in Scotland, but before the trip they did prepared (reading related publications and literature). In Norway the team interviewed 27 stakeholders, 15 of them are care farmers. The team highlighted 5 farms as a best practice since they are dealing with different target groups, using different methods and financing tools. According to the team’s experience there are initiations in Hungary for such care farms (e.g one of them is created by the Szimbiózis Foundation) but they use just few elements or tools of care farms and they are visible for only a small professional area. Their interviews said 3 recommendations in order to effectively activate the processes: (1) involve the target group from the beginning; (2) generate discussion between the stakeholders; (3) preparing a quality assurance system. Beside the interviews the team participated in the life of care farms for a few days thus they had the chance to get know more about the processes. This team is also working on the dissemination: they presented their experiences on a conference (organized by Szimbiózis Foundation) and on an event in the House of Discussion (https://www.facebook.com/events/1088152194550861/). They elaborated an Erasmus+ project proposal and applied to Youth to Youth Social Innovation Competition. They are continuously looking for chances to present their experience and ideas and collaborators.
