The team spent one month in Iceland (1 week) and Norway (3 weeks). Their aim was to create films and reports that can introduce and show the benefits of the activities of civic organizations and the society shaping form of the civic consciousness. They focused on green initiatives and organizations dealing with vulnerable groups thus they visited Green Warriors of Norway, Norwegian Refugee Council, Foreningen for human narkotikapolitikk, Citizens Foundation, Hugarafl, Pink Iceland, Emma Sofia. The team got know these organization and their work. They highlighted that according to their experience the politics are more open for the suggestions of the civic sphere than in Hungary, and there is an active, continuous discussion between them. They can see that civic organizations in Hungary are not so deeply embedded to the society than in Norway or Iceland thus the media should be more active in awareness rising about the sector. They think that grassroot initiations and organizations are really important as they could have the connection with decision-makers.
The team was invited to Radio Tilos in November, 2015 where they shared their experience, and they also participated in the event titled ‘ON THE NORTH SPOT’ organized by the Royal Norwegian Embassy to Hungary (http://trafo.hu/hu-HU/on_the_north_spot).
