In this project we present the everyday life of people with hearing, sensory and physical disabilities for healthy children and adults by involving our members’ assistance dogs. The presence of dogs assures a more friendly atmosphere to talk without prejudices about disabilities. Beyond training special assistance dogs our aim is also to help the integration of disabled people. We want to achieve the following services, which are built upon each other: 1. training assistance dogs owned by disabled people, 2.activities through which we shape peoples approach by involving assistance dogs (presenting assistance dogs in kindergartens, schools and workplaces, through which people become more sensitive towards the issue), 3. producing short films about the every day life of disabled people, in which assistance dogs are popularized. The programs primary target audience are countryside children and students in kindergartens, general and high school and people working in different workplaces. The project’s collateral target group are people with disabilities presenting their world using assistance dogs and of professionals who care for them and labour organizations. We want to popularize them through advertising our short film in the media. By influencing members of the society we try to advance the easier integration and equal opportunities for disabled people. Participant partners in the project are mainly kindergartens, schools, workplaces and event organizer places.
