In response to the declining offer and demand of local products of Baja and its surroundings the project aimed to make healthy products of local producers more valuable and accessible to customers. The project has successfully achieved this target by improving the local quality brand „Vedd a helyit!” (= "buy the local") and promoting better communication as well as cooperation between local producers, customers, businesses and decision-makers. Project activities included market research, the development of a local producer database, oganizing producer and customer clubs, local fairs and festivals, community events, trainings, lectures and an extensive local marketing campaing. These have promoted both producers to become more efficient and competitive participants of the local economy and local population to be more health and environmentally conscious, and as such, the project has contributed to the revitalization of the local economy.
