The aim(s)
The education of Roma and disadvantaged youth is unsuccessful. There are several prejudice in our society towards them. Teachers and pre- service teachers have a key role to provide remedy to this problem.
The intent of the project is to develop a board game. Its short term objective is to provide experience for pre-service teachers about the problems of these young people. With the help of the board game the participants gain useful knowledge and get an efficient tool which will be applicable in their work with secondary school pupils.
The long term objective of the project is to introduce the theme of awareness raising and equal opportunities for all into the secondary school teaching practice.
Target group(s)
Direct: pre-service teachers, university students on supporting tracks, educators in teacher training and other support professions, teachers in secondary school, the colleagues of NGOs.
Indirect: disadvantaged/Roma youth, secondary school pupils

The collection of knowledge about the topic

The testing and finalizing of the board game

The placement, try-out and evaluation of the game

Cooperation and the utilization of the outcomes
The collaborators of the project (1) will become more conscious in awareness raising (2) their work focusing on the problems of disadvantaged/Roma youth will be known (3) they will reach and activate further supporters.
