Ökotárs Foundation welcomes the decision of the  National Tax and Customs Administration to close the year-long investigation in the absence of crime related to the EEA/Norwegian NGO Programme against the foundation and 17 of supported associations and foundations by it.

Az Ökotárs Alapítvány üdvözli, hogy a Nemzeti Adó- és Vámhivatal bűncselekmény hiányában megszüntette a Norvég Civil Támogatási Alappal összefüggésben ellenünk és az általunk támogatott 17 egyesület és alapítvány ellen folyó, egy éve tartó nyomozást.

In  the ongoing courtcase related to the tax number of Carpathian Foundation Hungary (member of the EEA/Norway NGO Fund operator consortium) the Administrative and Labour Court of Eger decided to turn to the Constitutional Court of Hungary. The Court of Eger made this decision based on our motion to establish whether the tax number suspension ordered by the Governmental Control Office (GCO) and the Government Decree on GCO' operation conflicts the Basic Law.

Over the past months, the Hungarian government and pro-government media has published numerous malicious rumors viewing Ökotárs, its partners and the activities of the EEA/Norwegian NGO Fund in a bad light. These rumors include heavy, sometime contradictory accusations against us and even these are constantly changing: it started out with the claim that we are indirectly supporting parties from the Fund. It turned out that this is not true. Than it continued with that we support party-related NGOs. It turned out that this is not true either. It continued that we are pseudo-civil.  This is not true either, of course. And now they say that our operation is irregular. We will refute this as well.

Az Ökotárs Alapítvány azért indított pert a Miniszterelnökség államtitkára ellen, mert múlt tavasszal Csepreghy Nándor a következő kijelentést tette: „Sem Norvégiának, sem Magyarországnak nem érdeke, hogy "párthoz kötődő, szélhámos gittegyletek" kezeljék a norvég alap nyújtotta támogatást, ezért az államra bíznák annak kezelését”. Az Ökotárs Alapítvány szerint a Csepreghy Nándor mai nyilatkozata azt sejteti, hogy a bíróság igazat adott volna az államtitkárnak. Ezzel szemben a valóság az, hogy a bíróság nem vizsgálta az állítások ténybeli alapját.

Budapest, 27 February 2015 - The assessment of applications submitted for the third and last call of the NGO Fund has finished. With the award decision of the operator foundation's Approval Board the funds have been almost fully allocated.

Budapest, 2015. február 27. - Befejeződött a Norvég Civil Támogatási Alap (NCTA) harmadik, és egyben utolsó felhívására érkezett pályázatainak értékelése. A lebonyolító alapítványok képviselőiből álló Jóváhagyó Testület tegnapi ülése nyomán megszületett a támogatási döntés, és ezzel az alap forrásai szinte maradéktalanul kiosztásra kerültek.

On September 8, last year  officers of the National Bureu of Investigation made house searches in the offices of Ökotárs Foundation and his partners and at some of the foundation's colleagues. Everyone who was involved in the searches - the Ökotárs Foundation, Veronika Móra director and Zsuzsa Foltányi board member - made complaints against the raids. The Central District Court of Buda upheld the complaint in its decision dated 23rd of January. The decision says that the search and seizure was illegal as suspicion of offense has not been established.

A Norvég Civil Támogatási Alap lebonyolításában részt vevő civil szervezetek megdöbbenéssel tapasztalták, hogy a Kormányzati Ellenőrzési Hivatal (KEHI) az ellenük minden felhatalmazás nélkül folytatott vizsgálatát állítólagosan lezáró, „Jelentés” címet viselő dokumentumát anélkül bocsátotta a sajtó egyes képviselőinek rendelkezésére és tette fel a honlapjára, hogy előzetesen a vizsgált szerveknek megküldte volna. A KEHI a működéséről szóló kormányrendelet előírásait, valamint a tisztességes eljárás követelményét megszegve mindezidáig nem küldte meg az ellenőrzési jelentés teljes dokumentum-anyagát az összes olyan melléklettel, amely a KEHI szerint alátámasztja a sajtó útján közreadott vádakat. Ezért a vizsgálat alá vont alapítványok nyomatékosan követelik, hogy a KEHI bocsássa rendelkezésükre ezeket a dokumentumokat.

2013. február 12-től érhetők el az EGT/Norvég Civil Támogatási Alap új pályázati felhívásai. Az Európai Ifjúsági Központban tartott nagyszabású nyitóeseményen az alap hazai lebonyolítójának képviseletében az Ökotárs Alapítvány ismertette a kiírások részleteit. Ebben az évben – első körben – különböző témakörökben kis- és makroprojektek, valamint egyéni ösztöndíjas tanulmányutak támogatására lesz lehetőség.
